Relief Cleaner

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the Building Cleaning Team at Darlington Borough Council as a Relief Cleaner. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure including Children's Barred List Check. The successful applicant will be responsible for cleaning allocated areas to a high standard. This includes toilets and washrooms, offices and classrooms, corridors and walkways, and external curtilage areas. The role requires the safe and appropriate use of a range of cleaning equipment and materials., You must ensure that anything submitted in your application is factually accurate. You will be expected to build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, clients, and colleagues to ensure a positive and professional service is always delivered. While you will be part of a supportive team, you must also be confident working independently. Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
