Full Job Description

As a Vision Rehabilitation Specialist (Qualified) you will provide community care andsupport, helping individuals overcome problems that can be caused by a Vision Loss.You will be part of a specialist team which provides rehabilitation services, mobilityand orientation training, psychological and emotional support and technical servicesacross Shropshire to those with a vision and/or hearing impairment.

  • Honors Degree or DipHE/Foundation Degree in Rehabilitation Studies (Visual
  • Impairment) or equivalent.
  • Ability to complete long cane training.
  • Experience of working with adults with visual impairment and their carers in the
  • community
