Full Job Description
This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Duties of this role include:
- Work collaboratively with nursing, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy teams to deliver rehabilitation programmes tailored to individual patient needs.
- Assist with mobility and positioning, including the safe use of hoists and mobility aids.
- Help patients engage in purposeful activities that promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional recovery.
- Act as a key worker for assigned patients, advocating for their needs and ensuring consistent delivery of care plans.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-prepared therapeutic environment by contributing to housekeeping and equipment checks.
- Take responsibility for your own learning through active participation in supervision, training, and appraisal processes.
Diploma/Degree in a Sport Related subject and relevant experience working in a MSK Rehabilitation setting. OR - Level 2/3 gym/instructor/personal trainer or level 3 exercise referral/level 4 qualification/equivalent with experience delivering groups sessions. OR
- Experience of working as part of a Physiotherapy team or within the fitness industry.
- At least 150 hours previous experience of working with specialist populations, for example exercise referral, cardiac, back care, falls etc.
- Full UK driving license.
