Regulatory Analyst

supports maritime safety, environmental protection and the MCA's wider public service responsibilities. As a Regulatory Analyst, you will lead the provision of robust analysis to inform the MCA's regulatory programme, assure analytical work across the Agency and support effective policy delivery within the maritime sector. You will work collaboratively across the Economic Analysis Team, helping to deliver priority projects, strengthen analytical capability and promote continuous improvement. Top Responsibilities

• Providing analytical input and assurance in line with the MCA Analytical Assurance Framework. Delivering analysis for Impact Assessments and Post Implementation Reviews. Supporting the MCA's response to the Government's Regulatory Action Plan. Quantifying the economic impact of regulations, including administrative costs to business. • Understand of the Better Regulations Framework and delivery of impact assessments. Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Particularly Excel. Analytical skills in excel will be tested as part of the recruitment process.
