Full Job Description

Worker Type: Hybrid Worker a minimum of 1 office day per week (Subject to a successful probationary period), This role is part of the Regulation Hub which consists of teams across Housing Licensing, Environmental Health, Taxi and General Licensing and Safer Housing. For this role you will be required to support the administration function of the team as you will be the technical expert. You will be responsible for the supervision of the Regulation Support Officers with day to day work allocation, complex enquires and some HR related tasks. This role could be supporting any of the teams within the Regulation Hub.

  • Evidence of working successfully in partnership across different sectors, building and maintaining good working relationships
  • Ability to support with the development of new ways of working, improving support systems and processes
  • Ability to support with the day-to-day supervision of the Regulation Support Officers, which includes overseeing team performance and wellbeing. To take an active role in supporting the setting up of new process and procedures across the department to support financial monitoring, auditing, quality control and customer feedback.
  • Able to communicate effectively in complex issues face to face, in writing and on the telephone. Assisting team members, managers and the Service Lead.
  • Ability to be creative, to be able to identify problems and work to create solutions.
