Between our Vets we hold a Certificate in Internal Medicine, Certificate in Cardiology and one currently doing a Certificate in Ultrasonography. We also offer acupuncture and physiotherapy. We really do believe in supporting our team to reach their career goals, and in return, help to provide and support the best quality care to our clients. Our practice is based inside the vibrant Pets at Home store in Peterborough Bretton, and our Peterborough Vets for Pets practice is a wonderful standalone building; we offer free parking for staff and clients and easy accessibility at both practices.
You will have a good experience of veterinary nursing, excellent customer service and communication skills, be an effective team player, have a systematic approach when making decisions and be able to carry out the role effectively with planning and organisation. You are friendly, down-to-earth, have a genuine interest in animal welfare and enjoy the variety provided by the clients and colleagues alike.
At Peterborough Vets for Pets, we have a team of 7 Vets, 7 Registered Nurses, 2 Student Nurses and an incredible administrative support team.
We are open to considering either full time or part time candidates. Full time work would be 4 longer days in the week, with a weekend rota. 1:8 full weekends (9am-5pm on Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday) and 1:5 half weekends (9am-2pm on Saturday). If you are wanting to work part time, you would also need to participate in the weekend rota. No OOHs and bank holidays are shared between the team over the year. We can offer you
