Registered Service Manager

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Service Manager to lead one of our well-established residential services in Darlington. This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead of a long-standing and stable service that has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, person-centred support. You'll be joining at an important time, providing leadership through a planned management transition while building on the positive culture and strong foundations already in place. The service supports adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs to live fulfilling, independent lives within their local community. A strong focus is placed on promoting choice, independence, community engagement and positive outcomes. As Registered Service Manager, you will lead an established team, ensuring the highest standards of support, quality, compliance and operational performance are maintained.,

• Provide strong leadership, direction and support to your team
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred support and positive outcomes
• Manage the day-to-day operation of the service
• Lead recruitment, induction, supervision and development of colleagues
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and organisational standards
• Complete audits, quality reviews and service improvement plans
• Manage service budgets and financial performance
• Build positive relationships with families, professionals and external stakeholders
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and excellence
What We're Looking For We're keen to hear from:
• Existing Registered Managers
• Experienced Deputy Managers ready to step into their first registration
• Service Managers with substantial leadership experience looking to progress
Essential Experience
• Background in Learning Disabilities services
• Experience supporting adults with complex needs, including mental health needs
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards
• Experience leading, motivating and developing teams
• Knowledge of person-centred support planning
• Experience managing compliance, audits and service improvement activities
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
