Registered Practitioner in Fertility Care

As a Registered Practitioner, you will support patients throughout their fertility journey, providing clinical care, information, advice and emotional support. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will coordinate treatment cycles and help deliver outstanding patient-centred care., The post holder will:

• Provide advice, information and emotional support to patients throughout their fertility treatment journey.
• Coordinate treatment cycles in partnership with patients and the multidisciplinary team.
• Undertake fertility assessments and pre-treatment consultations.
• Provide medication teaching and support patients with self-administration of fertility drugs.
• Undertake venepuncture and cannulation (training provided where required).
• Assist in theatre procedures including egg collections, embryo transfers, intrauterine insemination (IUI) and HyCoSy procedures.
• Prepare and maintain theatre and ward environments, including resuscitation equipment.
• Administer medicines in accordance with company policies and professional standards.
• Undertake abdominal scanning following appropriate training and competency assessment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with professional, regulatory and organisational requirements.
• Participate in the on-call rota and bank holiday working arrangements.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high-quality patient experience.
