Registered Nursing Associate - Theatres

This exciting, new and developing role is part of the perioperative team working with Surgeons, Anaesthetists, Registered Nurses and Allied Health Care Professionals in our Theatre Complex. Working with proximal supervision from a registered nurse/practitioner the post holder will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team providing direct and indirect care to the patient. The post holder will perform circulating and scrub duties for a range of surgical cases as well as supporting the anaesthetist in the administration of local anaesthetics, monitoring of the patient intraoperatively and postoperatively.Main duties of the job To ensure that all departmental policies, procedures and guidelines, are adhered to.
