Registered Nurse (Out-Patients)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse Associate to join our small Out-patient Department team, working one day a week in a Trust that is rated outstanding for its care and delivers the best patient experience in the NHS (according to the Adult Inpatient Survey)

You will work within a multi-disciplinary environment, supporting musculo-skeletal out-patients, focusing primarily on wound care, effective daily organisation of the team and department, and working clinically in our day case facility.

starting salary dependant on experience

We are unable to accept applications from candidates who require OSCE in order to register with the NMC as we have a separate and limit process for these appointments., Our Out-patient nurses are responsible for the delivery of safe, skilled ,quality patient centered care within the fields of Adult Orthopaedic Outpatients which includes day case surgical procedures

Participating in direct patient care and assisting in the provision of clinical and professional advice, expertise, and support, developing practice and monitoring performance.

Daily Assessment, treatment, and evaluation of orthopaedic surgical and chronic wounds, alongside the multidisciplinary team.

Managing clinic space and staffing resources effectively , working closely with the administration team .

Manage the procedure / post procedure room team, as a team leader, participating as an active member of the scrub and admission / discharge team.
