Your role as a Hospice Nurse At the heart of our patient-centred approach is a simple belief that every moment counts. As a Hospice Nurse, youll lead by example in delivering high-quality, holistic care within our welcoming inpatient unit. Youll provide vital support not just to patients, but to families and colleagues helping to create an environment of trust, peace, and compassion and work in a close-knit team where kindness, empathy, and clinical expertise truly matter. This Hospice Nurse role is based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire and is commutable from areas including Ripon, Darlington, Durham, York and Teesside. In this role, youll:

  • Develop tailored care plans, administer medication and manage symptoms to ensure comfort
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and manage patient admissions and discharges
  • Provide emotional support for patients and families, offering compassionate care

    Hours: Part-time and full-time hours available, 22.5 - 37.5 hours per week (shifts include nights and weekends) Salary: £42,313.23 per annum FTE, rising to £43,505.98 per annum FTE (split of 55% of shifts in social hours/45% unsocial)
