Registered Nurse - HDU

As a Surgical Critical Care Nurse, you will:

• Assess, plan and deliver care, based on individual patient needs in conjunction with the Multi-disciplinary Team.
• Demonstrate good clinical practice at all times and be accountable for own actions.
• Work within a team, supervising and directing junior staff and deputising for Senior Staff as required.
• Participate in the training and development of staff to care for levels2 patients in the High dependency beds in the ward.
• Ensure that own professional development is maintained and enhanced by engaging in external support from the Kent Critical Care network and surrounding NHS Trust., For more information regarding this role please see the attached job description and person specification.
