Dalton Court, our friendly 60-bed home in the lovely town of Cockermouth, provides high-quality Nursing, Dementia and Palliative care in a warm, homely setting. We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Nurse to join our daytime clinical team and help us deliver exceptional care to our residents. As a Registered Nurse (Days), you will: Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to meet each resident's individual needs. Support residents through their daytime routines, promoting safety, comfort and wellbeing. Administer medication and undertake clinical monitoring with care and accuracy. Work collaboratively with the wider care team to ensure continuity and excellence in care. Build positive relationships with residents and their families, offering emotional support. Mentor and guide junior staff, contributing to their development and confidence. What are we looking for? • Overtime is paid for working over fulltime hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our 'Reward Me' app. Flexible pay is available via 'STREAM'. This role attracts a welcome bonus of £1,000 subject to terms (£500 after three months of employment, with a further £500 awarded upon successful completion of six-month probation). Bonus payments are calculated on a pro rata basis in line with contracted hours (FTE). The welcome bonus is available to applicants who apply directly to Sandstone Care Group and does not apply to candidates introduced via recruitment agencies.
