Full Job Description
As a Registered Nurse within DSU and PreAssessment, you will play a key role in preparing patients for their procedures and supporting them through their care journey. Youll be responsible for assessing patient needs, delivering safe and effective care, and ensuring patients and their families feel informed, supported, and reassured.,
- Deliver highquality, patientfocused clinical care in line with national and organisational standards.
- Undertake preadmission screening, following Horder Healthcare policies and protocols.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care effectively.
- Provide clear, appropriate advice and information to patients and their relatives.
- Maintain excellent infection prevention and control practices at all times.
- Actively contribute to effective team working within DSU and across the wider organisation.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting incidents and concerns appropriately.
- Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
