Registered Nurse - BANK

We are looking for enthusiastic Registered Nurses to work on the Nurse Bank in our four hospitals and within the community setting of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion & Pembrokeshire.

Candidates with experience in Medical, Surgical, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, SCBU, ENT, Critical Care, Emergency Nursing, Theatres, School Nursing, Health Visiting and Community Nursing are invited to apply as there are opportunities to work in all these areas. Recent acute experience and up to date skills is desirable.We also have opportunities for Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Wards and are looking for flexible, motivated and enthusiastic Qualified 1st level Registered Mental Health & Learning Disabilities nurses to work in Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. You will be employed in the inpatient wards of Acute / Older Adult / Learning Disabilities mental health care.Successful candidates should have a flexible approach to work, have good communication skills, be a team worker and have the ability to work on his/her initiative. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Hywel Dda University Health Board plans and provides NHS healthcare services for people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and bordering counties. We have over 13,000 staff and together we provide primary, community, in-hospital, mental health and learning disabilities services. • Two integrated care centres: Aberaeron and Cardigan in Ceredigion, and several other community settings
• 47 general practices (six of which are health board managed practices); dental practices (including four orthodontic); 97 community pharmacies; 43 general ophthalmic practices; and 8 ophthalmic domiciliary providers
