Registered Nurse - Bank

This is a temporary Registered Nurse role at Avery Healthcare's Elton House Care Home in Watford. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents, including medication management, dressings, and chronic condition management. They will also act as the person in charge and stand in for the manager as required., As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be to act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observing all instructions to act upon their behalf. You will also be responsible for undertaking nursing tasks such as distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions. Additionally, you will be advising families of residents and GPs of any changes in condition, which gives rise to concern, and keeping them informed and involved in choices for ongoing care. You will also have responsibility for the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the period of duty and residents receive the required care.
