Registered Nurse, Band 5 Acute Medicine

AMU is an a 40 bedded unit, which includes 13 trolley spaces for the Medical Assessment Unit. We have 8 bed spaces designated for the Enhanced Care bays.

We are open 24 hours per day 356 days per year. We admit patients from the emergency department/ SDEC/ AEC and Cinapsis., We are looking for a nurse to join our team and help drive the success of AMU. The role will involve working in both AMU and MAZ alongside the wider MDT.

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated and who can use their own initiative .

You should have demonstrable experience in acute emergency medicine and be able to communicate clearly and confidently with patients, relatives and members of staff.
