Full Job Description
- Assess and monitor residents, responding appropriately to changes in their health
- Administer and manage medications safely in line with NMC standards
- Develop, review and maintain person-centred care plans
- Support residents living with dementia with dignity, patience and understanding
- Supervise and provide clinical guidance to care colleagues
- Maintain accurate clinical records and regulatory standards
- Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies and clinical concerns
- Liaise with GPs, families and external healthcare professionals when required All appointments are subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check, verification of the right to work in the UK, NMC registration checks, and any other pre-employment checks required for the role.
- Active NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
- Recent nursing home experience - essential
- Experience supporting older adults and people living with dementia
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Confidence managing a night shift and delegating to care colleagues
- Experience with medication administration, care planning and risk assessments
- Good understanding of safeguarding, infection control and clinical governance
- A calm and confident approach when responding to changing resident needs
£23.20 per hour | 37.5 Hours per Week | Night Shifts, £23.20 per hour - 37.5 hours per week
