Full Job Description
- Be responsible for achieving the highest possible standard of care in a professional manner through direct nursing care and effective supervision of Staff Members.
- Provide direction and nursing support for the care team.
- Provide the development and delivery of consistently high quality clinical and care services for residents with complex health and social care needs.
- Maintain high standards in all documentation and person-centred care plans.
- Have an awareness of regulatory and safeguarding standards and expectations with regards to the safety of vulnerable adults.
- Adhere to all appropriate NMC guidelines/regulations at all times. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents.
- Administer medications safely and accurately.
- Monitor residents' health and respond to changing needs.
- Maintain accurate care records and clinical documentation.
- Support and supervise care staff during shifts.
- Work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals.
- Promote dignity, independence and wellbeing at all times.
Have a current NMC registration with evidence of CPD, as well as experience of working in a care home is essential., An Overseas Police Check/ Certificate of Good Conduct may be required if you have lived or worked outside the UK for 12 Months or more, spent a significant period overseas, or worked abroad in a position of trust. This will be in addition to a mandatory Enhanced DBS check.
