Registered Nurse (Nights) Paid breaks and £1,000 Welcome Bonus. Job Description Location: Bupa Premier Court Care Home - Thorley Ln E, Thorley, Bishop's Stortford CM23 4BH. Salary: £18.41 - £21.48 per hour. Contract: 3 × 12-hour night shifts per week (36-hour contract). We make health happen. • Take responsibility for the well-being of residents, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met.
• Coach and guide the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals.
• Carry out assessments and develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans for each resident.
• Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and comply with relevant standards, policies and legislation.
Key Skills & Qualifications
• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN, capable of managing the unit alongside clinical duties in the home.
• Experience ensuring policies and standards are maintained to a high clinical standard.
• Confidence providing clinical guidance to care teams and supporting CQC tasks.
• Ability to build connections with residents and families, delivering kindness and support.
• Effective communication and reporting skills for handovers and collaboration with health-care professionals.
• Enhanced critical-thinking and self-reliance required for night work, where you may work alone with limited support.
