University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust are excited to offeran opportunity for Band 5 registered Nurse to join our Neonatal teams acrossboth Royal Derby Hospital and Queen's Hospital Burton. We have a 26 bedded Local Neonatal Unit (Level 2) at RDH, which provides care tonew born infants requiring intensive, high and special care, alongside 10dedicated Transitional Care cots. We have an 8 bedded Special Care Unit (Level 1)at QHB, alongside 4 Transitional Care cots. Our Neonatal services provide a comprehensive range of care including NeonatalIntensive Care (NICU), Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU), and Transitional Care,supporting babies and families across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality, family-centred care within a supportive and forward-thinking environment., The overriding purpose is to support the provision of the highest quality holisticneonatal and family care. . Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to neonates and theirfamilies' . Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe andeffective care delivery . Support and promote Family Integrated Care (FiCare) principles . Contribute to maintaining a safe clinical environment and adhering to Trustpolicies and procedures . Develop clinical competencies in neonatal care, supported by structuredtraining programmes . Provide effective communication and support to families during their neonataljourney We promote Family Integrated Care and have a positive and forward-thinking attitude to the care of the family as a unit.
