Full Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Care Delivery
· Ensure service users are at the centre of care delivery and their wishes and preferences support their wellbeing.
· Undertake care planning to meet service users' physical, psychological, and social needs.
· Develop care plans in collaboration with service users, families, friends, and multidisciplinary teams.
· Provide nursing care in line with policies, procedures, legislation, and best practice.
· Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and skills.
Medication and Clinical Practice
· Undertake all aspects of medication management in line with legal, professional, and regulatory requirements.
· Monitor and report any clinical concerns to the Home Manager.
Leadership and Team Support
· Support and provide leadership to care staff within the service.
· Organise and guide the care team to ensure effective service delivery.
· Promote effective working relationships with staff and multidisciplinary teams.
Safeguarding and Safety
· Promote and safeguard the welfare of individuals using the service.
· Respond appropriately and competently to emergencies.
Professional Responsibilities
· Work within the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code of Conduct.
· Attend statutory and role-related training.
· Maintain NMC registration and meet revalidation requirements.
· Seek opportunities for professional and personal development.
