Registered Nurse

To work with the Paediatric Bladder & Bowel Care Service to deliver Level 1 (Paediatric Continence Forum Commissioning Guide) treatment and intervention for children with bladder and bowel difficulties i.e. day and night-time wetting, idiopathic constipation in accordance with NICE Guidelines. Working alongside the Specialist Nurses to refer children to Level 2 care if required.,

• To carry out bladder and bowel assessments of children and young people referred to the service. To work closely with the specialist Nurses to identify the child/young person's specific needs, develop and implement detailed plans of treatment/intervention and review and evaluate appropriately.
• To hold nurse-led clinic and manage a caseload of patients within a designated locality within Devon and be supervised by the Specialist Nurse in terms of treatment and intervention.
• To work in partnership with the children, young people and their families by offering advice, liaising with other organisations and providers that may be involved with the child and their family.
