Full Job Description
Working with our anticoagulation and Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) nursing team, you'll provide skilled clinical care so that people receive safe, timely and effective support during their treatment.
You'll work as an autonomous practitioner once competencies are complete, carrying out assessments, investigations and treatment for adults with suspected or confirmed DVT, as well as those on long-term anticoagulation therapy. You'll be part of a supportive service that values evidence-based practice, clear communication and compassionate care., What you'll do:
+ Assess, examine and manage patients with suspected or confirmed DVT
+ Provide clinical care, education and advice for people on anticoagulation therapy
+ Use clinical investigations and national guidance to create safe treatment plans
+ Work closely with colleagues across primary, community and acute care
+ Support service development, audit activity and the training of team members
We're looking for a Registered Nurse with the skills to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. You might have experience in urgent or unplanned care, autonomous practice or managing complex clinical presentations. We welcome people who can communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure and use evidence-based approaches.
