You will be working on the Male PICU ward. Our PICU services have been designed to support people in a severe phase of illness who cannot be managed in acute services. What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team that is committed to supporting people's wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care by assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating individualised care plans while acting as the patient's named nurse. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and recovery-focused care, responding proactively to changes in patients' needs and supporting their families and carers.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical judgement, communication, and leadership skills, prioritising and delegating workload effectively while maintaining compliance with safeguarding, medicines management, the Mental Capacity Act, the NMC Code, and organisational policies. You will also be committed to continuous professional development, clinical supervision, reflective practice, and supporting newly qualified staff through preceptorship.
Applicants must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration, completed preceptorship, 6-12 months of post-registration experience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate mental health care.
You can find additional information in the attached job description.
