The Enhanced Care Team was introduced to improve the way we care for our patients requiring extra support and enhanced observations. Enhanced care for patients has a significant impact on both patient and careers experience. We offer individualized tailored care that contributes towards patient's safety and delivery of the fundamentals of care. The role of the Enhanced Care Team is to engage and support patients referred to our service with therapeutic interventions to improve their care and recovery in the hospital.
Training in Enhanced Care, Dementia, Learning Disabilities, Delirium, Conflict resolution, Mental Health and Substance misuse is available for those involved in providing the service.
