Full Job Description
- Act as the CQC Registered Manager, ensuring full compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards and local authority governance frameworks.
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations across supported living schemes, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support is delivered at all times.
- Embed safeguarding practices in line with the Care Act 2014, managing incidents, investigations, and risk effectively.
- Develop and maintain support plans, risk assessments, and outcome-focused care delivery in partnership with service users and multidisciplinary teams.
- Manage recruitment, supervision, appraisal, and development of care staff, ensuring workforce capability and consistency.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent) - Relevant health or social care qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3/4 or above) Registration and Compliance:
- Registered (or eligible to register) with the Care Quality Commission (CQC)
- Strong working knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and DoLS, Equality Act 2010, and CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs) Experience:
- Significant experience managing supported living or residential care services
- Proven track record of achieving positive CQC inspection outcomes
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs
- Demonstrable experience in leading teams and improving service quality within a local authority or regulated care setting
