Registered Manager

Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for an opportunity to lead a specialist service and make a meaningful difference to the lives of people with complex needs? BALLATER HOUSE IS LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED AND MOTIVATED REGISTERED MANAGER TO LEAD OUR LEARNING DISABILITY CARE HOME WITH NURSING IN COULSDON, SURREY. This is a key leadership role, overseeing the day-to-day operation of the service, developing and supporting a dedicated team, and ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance and quality are consistently maintained., As Registered Managere will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of Ballater House, ensuring high-quality care, strong team performance and full compliance with CQC requirements., o Lead and oversee the day-to-day operation of the service as Registered Manager.

o Recruit, manage, supervise, develop and retain staff.

o Oversee nursing and support worker rotas.

o Ensure high standards of care, medication management and service user reviews.

o Maintain compliance with CQC, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, health & safety and COSHH requirements.

o Drive effective governance, risk management and continuous improvement.

o Current NMC registration and previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager.

o Experience managing a specialist or dual-registered care service.

o Strong leadership, people management and communication skills.

o Knowledge of risk assessment, safeguarding and evidence-based care.

o Ability to supervise, mentor and develop multidisciplinary teams.

o Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and delegate effectively.

o Good knowledge of CQC requirements and relevant legislation.

o A proven track record of managing as a Registered Manager, managing a service with a minimum GOOD CQC RATING is desirable.

o Knowledge of the London commissioning landscape is desirable.
