Are you an experienced Team Leader or Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in your career?

Do you have the leadership skills to support and inspire a team whilst ensuring outstanding care for vulnerable adults?

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Registered Manager to support the day-to-day management of our supported living and day service. At Harrogate Home Support and Day Service, we offer support to people living in their own homes as well as a day service for people with a physical disability, learning disability and/or autism. We are proud to be rated as Good by CQC, and to have achieved Advanced Accreditation status with the National Autistic Society.

This is an exciting opportunity which will allow you to make a genuine difference to people's lives while leading and developing a high-quality service., Lead care and support services to ensure they are safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led. Maintain compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and North Yorkshire Council (NYC) policies

Drive continuous improvement and maintain accreditation through proactive change management.

Coordinate and organise care services for new and transferring individuals.

Ensure care is delivered in accordance with policies, procedures, care plans, and service level agreements.

Maintain effective working relationships with partners and other external stakeholders to ensure the quality-of-service delivery is maintained for the service

Lead, supervise, and motivate care staff to achieve high standards of performance through performance appraisals, training and development

Support recruitment, selection, induction, and retention activities.

Provide regular supervision and day-to-day guidance to team memebers.

Plan and manage staffing rotas, including arranging appropriate cover.

Authorise timesheets and ensure financial administration processes are adhered to.

Be responsible for the effective management of a budget

Ensure effective communication with service users, families, carers, colleagues, and partner agencies.

Ensure staff comply with health and safety requirements and risk management procedures.

Promote and uphold safeguarding practices at all times.
