About the Role: As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the childrens home supporting children and young people with LD disabilities and other additional complex needs. As an experienced manager you can confidently lead a dedicated team, fostering a safe, positive, and inclusive atmosphere for all to thrive. You will play a key role in setting up and developing this new service, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements. • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in childrens residential care, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, and relevant legislation in childrens services.
• Experience in planning and implementing care plans and any documentation relevant to children and young people to a high standard that meet in full The Childrens Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
• Experience of supporting children and young people with LD disabilities that can sometimes display complex behaviours.
• Leading Ofsted home inspections
