Essential Skills: A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK Management qualification at QCF level 4 or equivalent or a willingness to work towards this qualification QCF level 4 or higher in Health & Social Care or equivalent Previous care experience within the Learning Disability sector. Demonstrable knowledge of the care sector including the running of supported living homes and regulatory framework Excellent leadership and management skills Experience of working with vulnerable client groups Desirable Skills: Previous CQC registration in a residential service preferable A day in the life of a Registered Manager As the Registered Manager, you will head the team to provide a safe, caring,
responsive and effective service for the residents in your care home, ensuring delivery of the highest possible care standards fully compliant with all CQC statutory regulations, whilst making sure you achieve your operational and quality assurance KPI's. You will be based from our office in Castle street, Taunton with regular visits to service, As a Registered Manager with Agincare, you will lead a team to ensure safe, caring, and effective service delivery for residents in supported living homes. This role involves overseeing care compliance with regulatory standards, managing operational targets, and quality assurance. Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring residents understand their care choices, reviewing and adapting care plans, conducting service quality audits, and implementing risk assessments. Additionally, you will induct and support staff, address disciplinary actions, manage staffing to meet residents' needs, and investigate complaints. Key skills required are management qualifications, experience in the Learning Disability sector, and strong leadership abilities.
