Registered Manager

Please note: You must have the right to work in the UK and also have a Full UK Driving License.

Location: Colchester (with travel throughout Essex required)

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per year

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

As a Registered Manager, you will play a key role in establishing and developing a support service for an individual with complex behaviours, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care while leading and inspiring a dedicated team.

  • Lead and support staff teams to deliver exceptional standards of care
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, quality standards, and organisational policies
  • Oversee care planning, risk assessments, safeguarding procedures, and service quality
  • Build strong relationships with individuals, families, external professionals, and stakeholders
  • Support service development and contribute towards strategic planning and improvement
  • Prepare for and transition into the full Registered Manager role

About You

We are looking for an ambitious and compassionate leader who has experience within social care and is passionate about improving the lives of people with Autism and Learning Disabilities.

  • Previous experience holding a CQC Registration is essential
  • Strong understanding of CQC requirements, compliance, and quality standards
  • Confident leader with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organised, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
  • Minimum Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification, with Level 5 or willingness to work towards it
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel throughout Essex
