Full Job Description
Nurture Health and Care is recruiting a Childrens Service Registered Manager for our new Intensive Community Support Service based in Peterborough. This is a senior operational leadership role with legal accountability for regulated activity. The Registered Manager will lead the day-to-day operation of the service, ensuring it is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. The service will support children and young people from puberty to 25 years who require intensive, consistent, relational and therapeutic support. - Act as the Registered Manager with legal accountability for regulated activities.
- Ensure continuous compliance with CQC and Ofsted standards where applicable.
- Lead safeguarding, risk management and incident oversight.
- Recruit, induct, supervise and develop the workforce.
- Maintain governance systems, audits and quality improvement programmes.
- Manage complaints, Duty of Candour, notifications and whistleblowing.
- Develop positive relationships with families, commissioners and partner agencies.
- Support mobilisation, operational readiness and business continuity.
- Create psychologically safe teams where learning, reflection and professional curiosity are encouraged.
- Maintain regulatory readiness every day, rather than preparing only for inspection., Support from the Head of Service, Medical Director, specialist clinical network and governance systems.

Job Purpose Nurtures Intensive Community Support Service is a new dedicated model of care which works alongside children and young people during ordinary everyday life, recognising that ordinary moments create extraordinary opportunities for healing, learning and recovery. The Registered Manager is the legally accountable operational leader responsible for ensuring the Intensive Community Support Service delivers safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led services. The post holder will ensure compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations, CQC Fundamental Standards and, where applicable, Ofsted requirements and Children's Homes Regulations. They will lead the day-to-day operation of the service, creating an environment where children and young people experience safety, stability and compassionate care whilst supporting staff to flourish. - Successfully register and mobilise the service.

Experience of leading teams in complex services. - Experience of CQC, Ofsted, safeguarding and regulated services.
- Experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, Service Manager, Operational Lead or equivalent senior regulated service role.
- Strong understanding of governance, audit, risk, incident management and quality improvement.
- Excellent communication skills with families, commissioners and professionals.
- Integrity, resilience, emotional intelligence, curiosity and compassion.
- Experience of inspection leadership is desirable., Excellent communication with families, commissioners and professionals., Experience of leading teams in complex services is more important than a professional qualification., Degree/Master's. Regulatory Leadership,

Salary: £57,528 annual salary, dependent on experience and contracted hours.
