Full Job Description
We are currently looking to appoint a Registered Home Manager for our 5 bedded childrens residential home in Northamptonshire. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day to day running of the home with the support of the Deputy Manager., Perhaps you are an experienced Deputy Manager who is looking for a step up in your career, or a Registered Home Manager who is looking for a new opportunity - we would love to hear from you.
We are looking for a manager who is a natural leader and has the needs of the children and young people we support at the heart of what they do. You will have a previous experience of working with children and young people, preferably in a residential setting, a good understanding of Ofsted requirements, recruitment, staff training, supervisions, implementing safeguarding, policies and procedures., + QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
+ At least 2 years' recent experience in a supervisory role within a Registered Children's Home
+ Proven managerial and leadership skills with a child-centred approach
+ Strong knowledge of children's home regulations and legislation
+ A positive track record with Ofsted inspections
+ The ability to inspire a team and build trusted relationships with stakeholders
+ Full UK Driving Licence
