Full Job Description
The Regional Support Manager is a specialist operational role responsible for the effective management of one or more Healthcare Ireland care homes, either in the absence of a substantive Home Manager or to provide targeted support alongside an existing Home Manager during a period of improvement or transition. Reporting to the Regional Director or Area Director, the postholder takes full operational accountability for the allocated home(s), ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred care whilst driving measurable improvement against an agreed action plan and within defined timescales.
This is a demanding, high-impact role that requires a confident and experienced care home leader who can step into a challenging environment, quickly assess the position, build trust with residents, families, and colleagues, and deliver sustained improvement across quality, compliance, people, and commercial performance. The Regional Support Manager may also be required to register as the Home Manager with the relevant regulator for any home in which they are providing substantive cover.
