Regional Business Manager - Infectious Disease Diagnostics - North UK & Ireland Field Based Scotland/Wales/Northern Ireland/Ireland/Lancashire/Cheshire/Merseyside We are seeking an exceptional Regional Business Manager to build and lead a high-performing commercial team within our Rapid Diagnostics sector. This is a strategic leadership role for an experienced sales leader who thrives on coaching teams, securing meaningful NHS partnerships, and helping to delivering sustainable commercial growth. You will be responsible for developing regional strategy, accelerating market adoption, and creating a culture where individuals and teams can perform at their very best. The Opportunity As Regional Business Manager, you will build and lead a team of Key Account Managers, Business Development Managers and Product Application Specialists, driving commercial success across both NHS and private healthcare settings. Working closely with senior stakeholders, within secondary care, you will
identify new growth opportunities, build long-term strategic partnerships, and ensure your region consistently achieves ambitious revenue and profitability targets. This role offers significant autonomy and influence, providing the opportunity to shape regional strategy while working within a globally recognised healthcare organisation at the forefront of diagnostic innovation. What You'll Be Doing Achieve regional sales revenue targets by developing and implementing an effective, bespoke regional strategy.Manage, motivate, and support the Key Account Manager (KAM), Business Development Manager (BDM) and Product Application Support (PAS) team.Develop relationships with key decision-makers in key accounts, including clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.Identify and capitalize on partnership opportunities with the NHS and private market to gain a competitive advantage.Recruit, deploy, and redeploy staff within the geographical area.Develop local sales solutions and strategies in
collaboration with the UK Head of Sales.Lead the account management process for key accounts, coordinating activities, planning, and resource allocation to maximize sales growth and brand advocacy.Implement and monitor marketing strategies and promotional campaigns across the product portfolio.Ensure forecasting, demand planning and funnel management is updated and accurate at all times.Coach, develop and drive accountability of the commercial team to deliver on SFE and commercial KPIs through robust performance management.Effective talent management and succession planning of commercial team. About You We are looking for an inspirational people leader with a strong commercial pedigree and a genuine passion for developing high-performing teams. You'll likely bring: Significant commercial leadership experience within Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Healthcare Technology or Life Sciences.Strong understanding of the UK healthcare market, including, NHS procurement and private healthcare
structures, Experience leading geographically dispersed sales teams.A successful track record of delivering profitable growth and exceeding commercial targetsDemonstrable expertise in strategic account management and complex stakeholder engagement.Strong experience in contract negotiations, managed services and long-term commercial partnerships.Excellent financial, commercial and business planning acumen.Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of achieving results through influencing others and managing a team.Ability to maintain positive relationships and build strong links with all departments.Self-starter with flexibility and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-changing environment.Excellent organisational, facilitation, and presentation skills.Driven by objectives, solutions, meeting deadlines, and customer satisfaction.
