Full Job Description
Hartlepool Borough Council are seeking suitable applicants to join the Waste Services Team as a Refuse Operative on a casual basis. The main duties for this post will be carrying out programmed/scheduled works, which will include
- Collection, removal and disposal of domestic waste (including food waste)
- Collection, removal and disposal of commercial waste
- Collection, removal and disposal of recycling from various locations The successful candidates will encourage, advise and educate residents to participate in the authorities' recycling and waste management schemes.
CASUAL HOURS AS AND WHEN REQUIRED (£13.47 per hour plus 12% holiday pay)
