Recycling and Waste Service Supervisor

We are looking for a proactive and motivated supervisor to support the day-to-day delivery of our waste and recycling services across the borough. This is a key operational role, leading frontline teams to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality service delivery., You will:

• Provide operational leadership to drivers, team leaders and crews
• Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day service issues
• Work closely with Collection Support Managers to keep services running smoothly
• Monitor performance, resources and route completion in real time
• Promote a strong safety-first culture and ensure compliance with procedures
• Support training, mentoring and development of staff Work collaboratively to deliver an efficient, customer-focused service
  
  Experience working in waste, logistics or similar operational services
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure, make decisions and meet deadlines
• A proactive, solution-focused approach
• A full HGV Class 2 licence and good IT skills or a willingness to learn
