Full Job Description
Norse Environmental Waste Services (NEWS) are the waste and refuse management function for Norse Group, providing a full collection service across the local region. As we continue to deliver our frontline waste and recycling services across East Anglia, we are looking to recruit a Recycling Advisor for our centre in Dereham. In this role you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations of the centre runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a public facing role where you will be engaging with members of the public whilst delivering services where you will be helping advise on disposure of waste and ensuring the site is always safe and tidy.
- A full UK Driving Licence is required for this role
Whilst previous experience in a similar waste collection or disposal role would be ideal, we are happy to offer full training to the right person, provided you can demonstrate the following: - Able to follow instructions and communicate at all levels
- Able to demonstrate good customer service skills
- Have knowledge of waste recycling
- Have experience dealing with the general public
