Full Job Description

To work as part of the One LSC Recruitment Team in the provision of a professional and comprehensive recruitment service to all Partner Trusts, with a focus on BTH and LTH partners. To be a key contact for recruiting managers in the Trust for advice, queries, support and guidance. You will be responsible for delivering and end to end recruitment service., Support the delivery of an effective and comprehensive recruitment service in accordance with agreed professional standards, procedures & timescales.

  • Good, general education with competency in numeracy and literacy, Ability to travel, Proven experience of working with spreadsheets/databases/systems
  • Demonstrable experience of working as part of a team
  • Capable of working within procedural guidelines
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering effective customer service
  • Desirable criteria
  • Previous recent experience of recruitment
  • Working knowledge of the Electronic Staff Record (ESR)
  • Working knowledge of Trac and NHS Jobs system.
  • Understanding of recruitment check standards, Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to engage and build relationships
  • Excellent IT skills and proven ability to use MSOffice including Word and Excel or appropriate alternative package
  • Capable of demonstrating initiative
  • Able to exercise independent judgement within guidelines
  • Organisation and time management skills with the proven ability to prioritise workload
  • Able to work with minimum supervision whilst undertaking a range of tasks
  • Methodical in approach to work
  • Able to demonstrate tact and diplomacy
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude
  • Capable of liaising with staff at all levels and within all disciplines across the organisation

  • Please note that the salary advertised is for full time hours. If this post is less than 37.5 hours per week, the salary will be pro-rata. For posts on Agenda for Change pay-scales, new entrants to the NHS will normally commence on the first pay point of the relevant band.

The healthcare sector is exempted from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. In line with other NHS organisations in the North West Region, the Trust is now passing the charge for undertaking a DBS check on to candidates in the event they are successfully appointed into the post for which they have applied. Candidates can choose whether to pay this over 1-3 months as a deduction from the monthly salary. However, if you are applying for a post as a BANK worker, the payment must be made in full at the time of employment checks. The cost of an Enhanced Disclosure will be £55.38 and for a Standard Disclosure will be £27.38.
