Full Job Description
As part of our Recruitment & ESR Team, you'll learn how to provide administrative support that helps keep essential people processes running smoothly across the Trust. Throughout your apprenticeship you'll receive support, training and practical experience whilst developing valuable skills in recruitment, workforce systems, customer service and administration. A typical day may include:
- Supporting recruitment campaigns and helping candidates through different stages of the recruitment process, promoting Gateshead Health as a great place to work.
- Assisting with the preparation of employment documents and onboarding information for new starters.
- Learning how to accurately update and maintain employee records using workforce systems, developing valuable skills in workforce administration and data management.
- Developing customer service and communication skills through responding to telephone and email enquiries from staff, managers and applicants.
- Helping staff access workforce systems and services whilst building your knowledge of NHS processes.
- Handling confidential and sensitive information professionally and appropriately.
- Assisting with routine reports, data quality checks and other administrative activities that support the wider team.
