Recovery Worker

We have an opportunity available for a Senior Recovery Support Worker to join our Lancashire Supported Living Rehabilitation Service, Inspiring Minds, based in Burnley, BB11 1UG.

The service contains 9 beds and will provide intermediate short term functional rehabilitation support to adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities and individuals on the autistic spectrum and is designed to be a personalised, interactive and collaborative process, reflecting the whole person. The service enables individuals to maximise their potential to live a full and active life within their family, social networks, education/training and the workplace where appropriate, in the context of their mental health and promote recovery., As Senior Recovery worker, you will deliver a range of recovery focussed interventions to maximise individual and community assets to promote social inclusion, recovery, wellbeing and independence.

You will promote and achieve recovery and social inclusion through offering information, advice and guidance and developing opportunities for service users in areas such as employment, volunteering, health, leisure, wellbeing and education. As well as take on senior tasks & responsibilities as assigned by management to ensure that the service runs effectively day to day.

Candidates must hold a minimum Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards this.

As Senior Recovery Worker you will supervise staff members and delegate responsibilities ensuring values based support is delivered to the highest standard so working knowledge and understanding of a diversity of mental health conditions is essential.

Salary: £25,298 per annum

Hours: 35 weekly
