Full Job Description
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Records Services Team Manager at York Hospital., The post holder will be responsible for the day to day management of the teams, including dealing with human resource issues, recruitment, sickness management, service redesign, training and to ensure all processes are implemented to the best practice. They will be responsible for motivating the teams and ensuring that they have a comprehensive training and maintenance package to enable staff to deliver a high quality service.
The post holder will support the Records Services Operations Manager and will play a vital role in monitoring team performance against targets and agreed service level agreements. They will be responsible for implementing and maintaining administration systems and procedures that will fully support trust policies, and ensure that we have an efficient administration function and support the administration improvement work streams across the enlarged organisation.
The Records Services Team Manager role will be pivotal in improving the synergy and efficiency across all Trust sites and the post holder will therefore have a sound knowledge and understanding of administration processes, the ability to liaise across sites to identify and assist with service improvement and the implementation of new processes and training., As part of seeking to become more inclusive, we will consider requests for flexible working from the start of your employment. DBS Checks
Please be aware that all new employees starting work with us will be charged for the cost of their DBS check if it is required for the role. The cost will be deducted from your salary either in 1 payment or over a six month period once you start employment. By applying you are agreeing to this undertaking. If you are successful you will be asked to confirm if you wish to pay in one amount or in instalments. The charges are currently £27.38 for a standard check and £55.38 for an enhanced check. The level of check will be determined by the post you are applying for.
