The post holder will provide a professional, efficient, and patient-focused reception and administrative service within the Trauma and Orthopaedics department of a large acute NHS Trust. As the first point of contact for patients, relatives, and visitors, the receptionist plays a key role in ensuring a welcoming environment while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of clinics and services.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and organised Receptionist to join our busy Trauma and Orthopaedics team at NNUH. You will be responsible for checking patients in at the desk, managing appointments, maintaining accurate patient records, handling telephone and email enquiries, and providing general administrative support to the department. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone with previous administrative experience, strong IT skills, and a compassionate, patient-focused approach. Experience within the NHS or a clinical setting would be advantageous.
