London Clinic Cluster- 12 hour days, 4 on 4 off, 7 days per week. 4 on / 4 off may include shift times of 6.40am to 6.40pm and 7.20am to 7.20pm. Part-time shifts may be considered. For this position, as you may be in contact with live blood samples, you must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B or be able to get it following a successful interview stage. In line with Care Quality Commission guidelines, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS Check Right to Work Requirement Please note that this role requires candidates to have the legal right to work in the UK for a minimum of 12 months from the application date. This is to ensure completion of our 9-month probationary period and for any potential sponsorship decisions to be considered. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship at the point of hire. What does the Phlebotomist role involve? This role is responsible for ensuring customers have an excellent experience from the moment they enter our clinic, taking blood samples from both private and corporate clients. This is a varied role that may also include the following responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS).
  • Meet, greet, and check in clients, ensuring a welcoming and professional front-of-house experience.
  • Respond to client enquiries via telephone and email, providing accurate information and excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent.
  • Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation.
  • Engage in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic.
  • Proactively drive sales and exceed targets.
  • Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately.
  • Demonstrate high IT literacy in order to manage various software systems and daily tasks.
