Full Job Description

The role will be covering administrative and clerical duties, including evenings (6pm finishing shifts) , pulling case notes from across the Trust, to support an extremely busy unit.

You will require to support the unit regarding any administrative tasks related to the high flow of daily patients attending the service . You will require to be passionate about your role, kind towards patients and having excellent customer service skills.

Main duties of the job

You will require to be motivated, enthusiastic, to have excellent communication skills and work well within a team. The maintenance of patient confidentiality and excellent customer care skills are essential to this post.

Duties will include the retrieval of Health Record Folders, updating patient's details in their Health Record Folder and on the Trust's PAS system, and Reception duties, to include preparation of case notes for procedures and clinics , checking-in patients for procedures and day unit attendances . You will require to manage different systems online to be able to book all the required patients and to have excellent I.T. skills .

Within the role you are required to locate and organise patient's notes for the needs of the service , as well as , retrieving them to the service daily.
