Receptionist - Diagnostic Radiology

Over 200 000 examinations are booked each year in the Radiology Department, this requires a highly trained and dedicated Clerical and Administrative team. As a Clerical Officer you may be required to work 5 days out of 7, including occasional weekends and evenings if required, helping out in the office and on the reception desks. Computer literacy is essential because you would be expected to perform all aspects of administration including booking of appointments, and keeping hospital records accurately up to date. Excellent intercommunication skills and a friendly persona are also required because you will be liaising with member of the public, Radiology staff and other hospital workers. In return, you will receive training and support from a friendly and close-knit team who will help you to develop your office and administrative skills. The radiology department provides a wide range of imaging services across a range of specialities including:

• Plain X-ray
• Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
• Computed tomography (CT)
• Ultrasound
• Mammography
• Nuclear medicine
• Fluoroscopy and interventional radiology
Services have been developed to provide extended opening hours (including weekends) for plain X-Ray ultrasound, CT and MRI appointments. The department also services the A&E department,providing access to plain X-rays and CT scans 24 hours a day, seven days a wee
