Package Description: Receptionist and Administrator Be the person who helps make primary care work for your Brighton community. For many of our patients, you'll be one of the first people they speak to when they need our help. That makes this much more than answering phones and booking appointments. At Allied Medical Practice, we're looking for a Receptionist and Administrator to join our team across School House Surgery and Church Surgery in Brighton. You'll help patients navigate our services, make sure information gets to the right people and support our clinical teams with the administration that keeps a busy GP practice running. Some days will be busy. Priorities can change quickly. You'll speak to people who are worried, frustrated or simply unsure where to turn. That's why we're looking for someone who is organised, calm, approachable and genuinely wants to help people. What you'll focus on Helping patients access the right care You'll be one of the first points of contact for our
patients, whether they're speaking to us face-to-face or over the phone. You'll help with appointments, respond to queries and make sure patients are directe, In this role as a Receptionist and Administrator at IC24 in Brighton, you'll play a crucial role in supporting primary care services. You'll be responsible for helping patients access care, managing appointments, and providing administrative support to clinical teams. The position requires someone who is organized, calm, and approachable, capable of handling various tasks and priorities. Experience working in General Practice or the NHS is essential, along with good IT skills and effective communication abilities. The role is temporary, with an hourly pay rate of £12.71, offering a meaningful opportunity to support your community's health needs.
