Are you friendly, professional and highly organised and committed to the safeguarding of children? We are looking for a dedicated receptionist to be the first point of contact for our School. This is a key role in the heart of our school, providing a warm welcome to pupils, parents staff and visitors and supporting the smooth day to day running of the school. Silverwood School, Chippenham campus, is a specialist setting supporting children and young people aged 4-11 with a wide range of complex needs. Our school provides tailored, inclusive education designed to help each pupil thrive. Here's what you can expect:

- Greet all visitors, parents, and pupils in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and manage email correspondence
- Support staff with administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and document preparation
- Manage pupil attendance records and sign-in/sign-out procedures
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area
- Liaise with external services as needed
Has a kind, professional and friendly manner - Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is calm under pressure and able to manage competing priorities
- Understands the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding
- Is confident in using Microsoft Office and School IT systems
Permanent, Term time only, Mon - Fri, 8.00am - 3.30pm (37.5 hrs to include a 30 mins unpaid lunch) Salary: Grade E (£17,819 - £18,389.77 pa)
