Reception Manager

In 2018, Harbour Hotels was named AA Hotel Group of the Year. The role We are seeking an experienced Reception Manager with a strong background in hotel management to lead our Reception team. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and will possess outstanding communication, leadership, and complaint resolution skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team. Previous supervisory or management experience within a hotel environment is essential, together with a strong working knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS). You will be confident in all aspects of Front Office operations, including guest service, team management, billing, revenue posting, and guest feedback, ensuring the highest standards of customer service are consistently delivered. Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Reception team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Supervise Front Office operations, including guest service, billing, revenue posting and guest feedback management.
• Maintain high standards of customer service; resolve complaints effectively and professionally.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Utilise Property Management Systems (PMS) to manage reservations, check-in/check-out processes and reporting.
• Monitor and manage staffing needs, training, and performance within the Front Office team.
Qualifications and attributes
• Proven experience in hotel management or supervisory roles within a hotel environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid working knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Ability to motivate and manage a high-performing team and deliver consistent guest service excellence.
